“8TH GERFAM LECTURE CYCLE: 10 YEARS OF TEACHING, RESEARCH AND EXTENSION”

During these days, in celebration of the group's 10th anniversary, the VIII Lecture Circuit was held, with the presence of speakers Prof. Dr. Aníbal Coutinho do Rego, founder of GERFAM, Dr. Moacyr Dias Filho, MSc. Daniela Cotrim and cattle rancher Mauro Lúcio.
UFRA GROUP PARTICIPATES IN THE 6TH INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON
FOOD QUALITY AND CONSERVATION IN PIRACICABA

On November 7th and 8th, the 6th International Symposium on Forage Quality and Conservation (ISFQC) took place in Piracicaba-SP. The symposium takes place every two years with the aim of sharing research ideas and practical applications in the area of forage quality and conservation, especially silage. Researchers in the area of forage conservation from all over the world participate in the event with the aim of disseminating the most innovative developments and exchanging experiences with what is done here in Brazil.
GERFAM & CPCOP organized the 7th Field Day on Ruminant Production

On August 24, 2019, GERFAM and CPCOP, with the support of Emevep Jr, Megaa and GENAFOP, organized the 7th Field Day on Ruminant Production. The event, which is already part of the calendar of the main extension actions in the region, was held at the Igarapé-Açú School Farm and brought together more than 200 participants, including rural producers, students, company representatives and university staff. These participants traveled from several cities in the region, such as Belém, Castanhal, Capanema, Capitão Poço, Garrafão do Norte, Paragominas and Peixe Boi.

Criada em dezembro de 2017 a Assessoria de Comunicação do GERFAM (ASCOM-GEFAM) completa esse mês um ano. A ASCOM-GERFAM tem por objetivo atualizar as mídias sociais do grupo como Instagram, Facebook e o Site (www.gerfam.com.br) com os principais eventos e ações as quais o grupo está envolvido, seja na organização ou como participantes.
GERFAM participates in ECOARIDO and NEEF Field Day in Fortaleza, Ceará

From December 3 to 6, 2018, GERFAM was present at the V International Symposium on Semiarid Pastoral Ecosystems Research – ECOARIDO, held at the Pici Campus of the Federal University of Ceará, in Fortaleza. During the event, themes involving strategies for the development of livestock and coping with drought in the semi-arid region were presented in lectures and academic papers presented in poster form.
