Teaching activities
The project to create the Agrostological Field at the Federal Rural University of the Amazon, Belém campus, has been implemented. The objective of this field is to serve as a demonstration unit for students of undergraduate courses in Agronomy, Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics who study subjects linked to Forage Farming, as well as serving as support for other disciplines that find it appropriate to use.

The field infrastructure has forage of different genera and species, making students familiar with the cultivars practical.

Field maintenance occurs on a weekly basis by group members in order to maintain control of the spread of forage and its health.

Responsible for maintaining the agrostological field:

Prof. Dr. Thiago C. da Silva (Eng. Agronomist)

Tech. Adm. Edu Jorge C. de Azevedo (Zootechnician)
